Overview
NSTF Awards honours and Celebrates Outstanding Contributions to Science, Engineering, Technology and Innovation (SETI)
These awards are unique in SA, recognising the outstanding contributions of individuals and groups of individuals to SETI and therefore affords an opportunity for recognition and celebration to all practising scientists, engineers and technologists across the system of innovation, including, for example, teachers and students in mathematics, science and technology.
The NSTF invites you to complete an online Notice of Intent to Nominate to initiate your submissions for the 2008/9 NSTF Awards. You are advised to review information on the categories as some have been modified. After a Notice of Intent to Nominate has been received, the NSTF will invite nominees to complete detailed information.
An adjudication panel of independent judges representing all sectors within the NSTF will review the nominations to decide on the finalists, and the winners who are to be announced, and presented with the prestigious, specially designed trophies, at the Gala Dinner scheduled for the month of May every year. All finalists will be recognised with a certificate at a NSTF Plenary meeting scheduled around April every year.
