This category is intended to encourage South African writers, educators and journalists to promote science and technology. If you know of somebody who has, through articles published or materials produced for radio or television, raised the public awareness of science and technology issues, career opportunities and/or educated the public, nominate them for this category.

Entries may include reporting on the life, physical and/or social sciences, engineering and/or mathematics, as well as policy, health and environmental issues related to science and technology.

More information can be obtained about this NEW NSTF Awards Category at http://nstfawards.org.za/awardsk.htm.
